THE TRAVELLING DISPOSABLE CAMERA

I gave strangers a disposable camera and asked them to take a photo, then pass it on to another person. The camera started in a small town in Ontario Canada and ended up in New York City. Follow its journey and the lenses of multiple individuals.

The project was featured on “NowThis” and gained 2.5 million views on my personal social media account with over 1 million likes.

This project took 3 months from start to end, without knowing if I would receive the camera back or not.

The most exciting part of the images is the difference of composition, subject matter and location. Though through their differences, they share the same objective giving them a personal feeling; even though the images were all taken by strangers.

The project was inspired by the quote:

“Don’t you think maybe they are the same thing? Love and attention?”
